Group Study Rooms
Group study rooms may be reserved online using a valid ISU Net ID and password on a first-come, first-served basis.
Twelve study rooms are available for groups wanting to work together in the Parks Library. Four rooms are located in the Learning Connection Center (LCC) on Floor 1. Six rooms are located on Floor 3, and are available during the Circulation Desk’s open hours. The remaining two rooms are located inside the Media Center on Lower Level, and are available only during the Media Unit's more limited open hours. (See: Library hours.)
Most of the Group Study Rooms are equipped with a table, six chairs and a whiteboard and may be used for a maximum period of two hours, twice a day, with a break of one hour between reservations.
Two or more persons are required to be present for group study use.
Reservations can be made up to one week in advance.
The study rooms in the LCC are not locked. Keys to the rooms on the third floor and lower level rooms (along with whiteboard markers) can be picked up at the Circulation Desk by the group that has made the reservation.
Groups have 15 minutes after the start of their reservation to arrive. If a group has not claimed their study space by that time their reservation will be cancelled.
