Research teams at Iowa State University can hire a data analyst to support complex, transdisciplinary research projects with tasks and challenges such as:

  • Data format, storage, and version control (file system or source code)
  • Data cleaning and standardization
  • Exploratory data analysis and visualization
  • Data modeling (machine-learning)
  • Data sharing and public access
  • Data format, storage, and organization best practices

Including a data analyst on your research team lets you focus on research by enabling better organization, consistency, and efficiency.

Cost is negotiated for each project based on the time needed for completion.
