Library Visitor Card holders

If you are a guest or alumni with a Library Visitor Card or a spouse, domestic partner, or adult dependent of an ISU faculty, staff or student, you can borrow items for 12 weeks.

Borrowers from FastTRAC member institutions

If you have a library card at a FastTRAC library, you can borrow items for 16 weeks.

Borrowing from another library

If you have an ISU Card, you can borrow items from other libraries through us. Depending on the lending library, loan times for these items can range from 3 weeks to 16 weeks.

Exceptions

You can borrow Reference items for 1 week.

You can borrow Course Reserves items for 3 hours. These must be used only in the library.

Your borrowing time will be shortened if someone else requests an item you have. You will receive an email with the subject line "Due Date Change." You need to return it by the new due date, or you will be charged a fine.
