Most of our computers are for student and researcher use.

Students and researchers can login to our sit-down computers. Guests can request a guest login from the Main Desk for any Windows computer.

All computers have USB ports and Windows computers have disc drives.

Computer workstations

We have dozens of computers, both PCs and Macs, across the lower level, Floor 1, and Floor 2. We have a few PCs on Floor 3 and Floor 4.

Computer labs

Any student or ISU researcher can use computers in the labs in Parks Library, except when library instruction sessions are scheduled. Labs cannot be scheduled for non-library instruction.

  • The Catalyst (room 199): three high powered PCs with specialized research software, available for reservation.
  • Computer Lab 32: 25 PCs and an instructor computer located on the Lower Level - Students can reserve a computer seat when not being used for instruction.
  • Classroom 134: 24 PCs and both color and black and white printers located on Floor 1, available for reservation.

The Veterinary Medical Library has 2 PCs, 1 black and white printer, 1 scanner
