The Iowa State University Library’s mission is to provide world-class collections, services, and technologies to meet the dynamic needs of students, researchers, and scholars in our local and global communities. In pursuit of this mission, we share original and archival digital materials so they may be used for research, teaching, and other purposes.

While making this content available, the library seeks to act responsibly and in accordance with applicable rights, privacy interests, and professional standards. However, from time to time, concerns may arise regarding specific materials.

Individuals may submit specific concerns through the library’s Digital Content Concern Form

Concerns are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, in consultation with appropriate university offices as needed. The library retains discretion to determine whether any action is warranted and if so, the nature of that action. The library may communicate further regarding a concern after its review is complete, as appropriate.
