Materials loaned to libraries outside the U.S. and Canada will be shipped by Airborne and must be returned by a commercial shipper. Cost of loans outside the U.S. and Canada is U.S. $50.00 and may be paid via OCLC IFM, IFLA coupon, invoice (OCLC requests only), credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA), or prepayment.
Non-reciprocal requests that are billed may be paid for with OCLC IFM. Libraries using OCLC and not using IFM will be issued an invoice. Payment by credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA) and prepayment may also be arranged. International libraries may also pay by IFLA coupon.
Invoiced requests will receive a statement listing patron, request number and charges. All subsequent monthly statements list outstanding charges, but provide no other information. Outstanding balances within 30 days of the monthly accounts receivable statement date are assessed a finance charge, computed at a periodic rate of 1% per month on the balance computed from the statement date (annual percentage rate of 12%).
Libraries that do not pay ILL charges within six months of invoicing will be blocked. Please contact the Lending department if additional time is required to pay an invoice.
