Studio 2B

Studio 2B is a space to record and livestream professional-quality videos with the click of a button. Conveniently located in the lower level of Parks Library, Studio 2B includes a one-button studio with teleprompter, lights, and a height-adjustable table as well as a state-of-the-art Lightboard. The Lightboard allows users to overlay writing on their slides while simultaneously appearing on the screen with content. Studio 2B is the perfect place for faculty, staff, and students to capture lectures for online offerings, give research presentations, provide grant updates, create Open Educational Resources, and more.

“The variety of content we can create and share is limited only by one’s imagination,” said Hilary Seo, dean of the University Library. “Studio 2B is funded in part by donor support and is just one of many ways the University Library continues to evolve to meet the needs of our campus community.”

Studio 2B is open 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Mondays – Thursdays, 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Fridays, and additional weekend hours. Full availability aligns with Tech Lending hours. Tech support is always close at hand.

Drop by Studio 2B to check out the tech and enjoy refreshments during an open house in March:
