Statistical Solutions returns to Parks Library

Statistical Solutions The Catalyst Drop-in Events

Statistical Solutions is series of free drop-in sessions focused on helping graduate students and researchers with the statistical aspects of their research such as analysis, interpretation, experimental design, statistical coding in SAS and R, and data visualization.  

This semester Statistical Solutions returns to Parks Library on Tuesdays from 12-1 p.m. in The Catalyst. 

Statistical Solutions kicked off on Sept 16 and runs through December 16th but please note that sessions will not be held on Oct 28, Nov 4, and Nov 25 (see full calendar).  

This semester’s statistical expert is Benjamin Jacobs. Ben is a 4th year PhD student in the Statistics program. He has previous work experience as a Biostatistician at the Medical College of Wisconsin and some of his areas of expertise include linear models, Bayesian methods, and biological applications. 

Statistical Solutions is a partnership between the University Library and the Statistics department’s Statistical Consulting group. If a problem cannot be resolved in one session participants may be referred to the statistical consulting group for further assistance.
