The expanded project now includes biographies and photographs of more than 100 Black students who attended Iowa State College from its founding until 1950 including their majors, places of residence, student organization participation, and links to their theses and dissertations (if available). The new site is easier to navigate and search and will continue to grow as more students are identified. Anyone interested in contributing to this project should use the Contact Us page on the project website.

For more information, visit the Tracing Race at ISU initiative website, or contact Erin Ridnour, the project lead.
