Monday Monologues spring lineup announced

The spring lineup includes singing and dancing and will be held outdoors on the steps in front of Parks Library. Grab a blanket, bring a friend, and take in some great entertainment.

April 3 | 12:15 p.m., on the steps in front of Parks Library  

Stormettes Dance Line

The Stormettes Dance Line promotes team endurance and body-positivity by performing a variety of different dance styles including the majorette, heels and hip-hop styles. This team, open to Iowa State students with varying levels of dance experience, serves the Iowa State, Ames and Des Moines communities through performances and workshops.

Stepping Out 

Featuring the Cantamus, Lyrica, and Count Me In ensembles 

Conducted by Dr. Jennifer Rodgers, assistant director of choral activities, ISU Department of Music and Theatre     

Hear a concert of joyful, light-filled music. The women’s ensembles will share sounds of summer and light, Irish reels and ballads, and contemporary favorites in close harmony. Join us for a musical mood-lifter in the middle of the day.

Ballroom Dance Club Demo  

Ballroom Dance Club members will feature several dances from recent competitions. The club offers weekly beginner lessons before their meeting each Monday. The club hosts a large free group beginner lesson on Wednesday evenings that is open to anyone.

Jubilee Gospel Choir

One of the newer student organizations on campus, Jubilee Gospel Choir will share traditional praise and worship songs as well as popular tunes. The audience will be asked to join in some call and response, so be prepared to sing.
