
Rano Marupova, unit lead for instruction services, is a recipient of the CELT Exemplary Service Awards for Leadership in Advancing Teaching and Learning at ISU. This award recognizes those with a commitment to advancing teaching and learning at Iowa State; significant and long-standing support for and leadership in CELT events and programs; and demonstrated individual excellence in classroom teaching, high-impact practices, and mentoring. Marupova oversees the Instruction Services Unit in the University Library; and leads planning, development, and implementation of learning materials for the library’s information literacy course and other instruction initiatives.
The CELT Exemplary Service Award for Leadership in Advancing Teaching and Learning at ISU is an honorary recognition, and recipients are selected by the CELT Senior Leadership Team. Marupova’s outstanding efforts include contributions to excellence in teaching, Quality Matters certification of the Library 1600 course, leadership with Library Guides in the Canvas Learning Management System, and service on the CELT Advisory Board. She was recognized at CELT Celebration of Excellence in Learning and Teaching on April 3.
