A Fall Faculty Refresher at Parks Library

A Fall Faculty Refresher is planned from 2:30-4 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Room 198, Parks Library, for all interested ISU faculty. Starting at 2:30 p.m., we will share refreshing iced coffee, lemonade, and charcuterie, and then highlight some of the ways the library can support teaching and learning. The program will begin at 2:45 p.m., and there will be updates and information from librarians on a variety of topics, including Library 1600 and 5600, Special Collections and University Archives, Digital Scholarship and Initiatives, and Research Data Services. Additionally, we’ll review key information about course reserves and purchase requests. After the presentation, there will be time to meet with subject area librarians or chat with colleagues as you enjoy the refreshments. Advance registration is not required, and you can reach out to your subject area librarian for more information.
