Develop a winning proposal: Affordable course materials initiatives

call for proposals is open to support the Affordable Course Materials initiative, one of several aligned with the 2022-2031 Iowa State University Strategic Plan. This funding opportunity will enable instructors across Iowa State to lessen financial barriers for students while prioritizing their learning and faculty choice. 

Teams of faculty and staff are invited to submit proposals that include the integration and/or development of materials that are free for students in at least two Iowa State courses.

The amount available to support proposals submitted by the Sept. 8 deadline is $220,000

An information session is planned from noon-1 p.m. CDT Aug. 17 for those interested in learning more about this funding opportunity. Faculty and staff interested in applying for funding are encouraged to attend the session to learn more.
