Cyclone Support Central, located in Room 140 Parks Library, is open this spring with trained student staff to help their peers identify where to go for campus support. Cyclone Support Navigators provide concierge-style guidance for walk-in visitors by helping students clarify what they need and connecting them to the appropriate campus office or resource. Students can stop by with questions related to academic support, well-being, or navigating other campus services.
Spring term staffed Navigator hours
Sunday: 1-7 p.m.
Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Friday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday: noon-7 p.m.
In addition to connecting students with resources, the space continues to expand drop-in wellness options in response to student feedback. Cyclone Support Navigators can answer questions about available materials and welcome feedback on what students would like to see in the space.
In honor of Love Data Week, student navigators and staff partners joined a just-for-fun poll to model the kind of engagement with live data polls library visitors can participate in during February.
