Accessing E-Resources

Iowa State students, faculty and staff

Access to the library’s electronic resources is available to Iowa State faculty, staff and students on- and off-campus. On-campus access uses your campus network IP address, and no login is typically required. Off-campus access requires you to log in using your Iowa State Net-ID. When prompted "Choose how to sign in", select "Your ISU Net-ID".

For a consistent experience off-campus, use the library’s tools, for example, Quick Search). You can also access most of the library’s e-resources via an open web search engine like Google, but you will likely need to log in to the platform after identifying Iowa State University as your institution.

Members of the public

Access to most of the library’s electronic resources is available to members of the public visiting Parks Library while connected to the campus networks (including Eduroam). We have a few resources that are unavailable to visitors.
