International Nest open in Parks Library
The University Library has opened the International Nest in Room 34 Parks Library. It is a dedicated space for international students and those interested in getting to know them. There are two areas within the Nest. The main room is for relaxing, socializing, and even studying. The second room has four small study spaces, white boards, and three computers.
The International Nest is not only space for students to gather but some programs will be offered, as well. There will be a series of presentations on basic library topics each Tuesday from 12:15-12:30 p.m. in Parks Library Room 31. English Together will be held 4 - 5 p.m., Friday, followed by Game Night 5-7 p.m. in the Nest space. Keep up to date with what is happening by following @ISU_LibraryNest on Twitter and Instagram.
The room is a work in progress, with something new added every day. There are games, craft supplies, and coloring books available for use. Hot water and mugs are provided; bring your own tea. Comfortable furniture is coming soon. In the meantime, come visit and mark your hometown on the map.
Check the International Nest page on the library website for space updates and program information.
