Want to give the Library your input on the e-Library website?
The e-Library website, an electronic gateway to the ISU Library's vast collections and services, will undergo major revision in 2006. Although the content of the e-Library has been continuously expanded and updated since it was first unveiled in 2001, the website's basic design and organization have remained largely unchanged. Last year, Library staff conducted formal usability testing with ISU students and faculty, to see how successful they were in using various features of the website. In the spring of 2006, we'll follow up with focus group discussions (again involving students, faculty, and staff), and begin developing prototypes for a revised e-Library. It is expected that the new, improved website will be ready for fall semester. If you have comments, questions, or suggestions regarding the e-Library website, or if you would like to participate in focus group discussions on this topic, please contact either David Gregory (dgregory@iastate.edu) or Fred Gulden (gulden@iastate.edu), co-chairs of the e-Library Oversight Committee.
