Transfer records and papers to Special Collections and University Archives
As the academic year comes to an end and you start your spring cleaning, Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) would like to remind you that we welcome the transfer of records and papers from University offices and faculty. While cleaning out your files, please keep us in mind as a repository for your records. Our mission is to collect, preserve, and share documentation of the experiences, achievements, and memories of people and organizations reflecting the university's major research areas, with a special commitment to documenting the history of the university.
We accept materials in most formats, including electronic records, images, three-dimensional artifacts, and websites affiliated with the university and/or university affiliates' projects. Please consult the SCUA staff for details on what to keep and what to dispose of, and review our guidelines for transferring University Records or donating Faculty Papers (http://archives.lib.iastate.edu/donations-transfers).
You can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 515-294-6672 and our staff will be happy to assist you.
