Bio

Keeping up with changes in the world of information can be a challenge, but ensures that this work will always stay interesting.

I use the ISU Library frequently as a patron as well--I love being able to search the "super-catalog" WorldCat from off-campus and to copy or print lists of what I currently have checked out through My Account in the Library Catalog.

I'm a lifelong Cyclone--my first home was in Pammel Court.

Library Responsibilities:

I am the subject specialist for Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics, as well as taking a regular turn on the Reference Desk. I also serve as the coordinator for the Library's virtual reference services--chat and e-mail reference offered through "Ask a Librarian."

Research Interests:

Synchronous and asynchronous virtual reference services

Online reference sources

Use and implementation of electronic books
