Lib 5600x Advanced Research Skills for Grad Students

LIB 5600x is a hands-on course designed to build skills in research and prepare students for graduate work and publication. In this course, students learn to the following: 

  • Formulate research questions.  
  • Conduct literature reviews using advanced search strategies in subject-specific databases and AI research tools. 
  • Master data and citation management.
  • Navigate the nuances of publishing, peer review, and author rights.
  • Build your academic network and research toolkit to help you at every stage of your graduate journey.
