Oct 24, 2019 · Nacuya Rucker

Iowa State University President Wendy Wintersteen and Interim Dean of Library Services Hilary Seo invite you to celebrate the Collaboration Corridor Ribbon Cutting at Parks Library.

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 30

Time: 2 p.m.

Location: Iowa State University Parks Library, 701 Morrill Road, Ames, IA 50011

With collaboration and teamwork ever more central to education and research, the Collaboration Corridor at Parks Library transforms the first floor into a hub for student services, while expanding flexible collaboration and study space that can accommodate more than 200 people.

Features include seven new collaborative study rooms, each with a presentation monitor, whiteboard and audio/video conference capabilities; numerous comfortable seating options; and a central location for the main desk. The renovation ensures the library remains relevant to students in a digital era and moves it closer to its ultimate vision for a 21st century library that serves all stakeholders within this exciting research university.
