Entrepreneurship and innovation resources
You've decided that you want to make a difference in the world. You're creative, driven, and have a sense of purpose, but you still have some questions. How can I be innovative? What do entrepreneurs do? Can I be an entrepreneur and not run my own business? Hint: Yes.
The University Library has a wealth of resources that can answer these questions. Many of these materials are included in two resource guides, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Guide and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Reading List.
The research guide includes links to entrepreneurship and innovation activities at Iowa State, resources for entrepreneurship in different areas (arts, biosciences, engineering), information about how to find materials in the ISU Library, and a short guide for starting a business.
The reading list has links to books about creativity, innovation, entrepreneurial behaviors, and specific resources for entrepreneurship in the arts and sciences. Many are available as e-books, and the guide features a podcast list and video resources.
The ISU Library has other guides related to entrepreneurship and innovation that can be found on the subject homepage. Please direct questions or comments about the guides to Jeffrey Kushkowski.
