Tech Lending Delivery
In need of a laptop? Have a short in your charger? We have you covered. Tech Lending Delivery provides undergraduate and graduate students with off-campus access to laptops, iPads, hotspots, chargers, and more.
How to request
Before submitting your request, please review all Tech Lending guidelines here.
To view or check out available equipment, visit lib.iastate.edu/techlending. During checkout, you will be prompted for your delivery information, which includes address, city, state, and zip code.
After submitting your request, Tech Lending staff will review and notify you once it’s approved via a confirmation email. The email will include details about the requested item(s), address, and tracking information. Equipment will be checked out to you the day it ships.

Library Material Delivery
Library Material Delivery grants Iowa State students, faculty, and staff access to thousands of books, CDs, movies, and bound journals.
How to request

After requesting an item, patrons will receive a confirmation email with details about the requested item(s) and the address. Items are shipped via USPS within 24 hours of submitting a request, except on weekends. Requests submitted after noon on Friday will be shipped the following Monday.
Items can be shipped to locations in the U.S. (including Alaska and Hawaii), Canada and Mexico. Delivery times may vary based on location. All items are shipped free of charge.
Upon delivery, your package will include all requested item(s), a note with return instructions and a return shipping label. Please keep the original box for returns.
Undergraduate students and merit staff can check out items for 12 weeks. Graduate students, faculty, and P&S staff have until May 7, 2021, to return items.
To view your return date, click on My Library Card, located in the upper-right corner of lib.iastate.edu.
Use the label that came with your items to return those items. Return labels cannot be used for additional items, as we are pre-paying by weight. If you need return labels for items you’ve previously checked out, please contact the Main Service Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
