The Crop Science
Society of America (CSSA) is an international educational society
dedicated to the conservation and intelligent use of natural
resources to grow food and fiber crops. CSSA provides member
benefits and educational opportunities through awards, certification
programs, meetings, placement services, publications, and student
activities. The organization works closely with the American
Society of Agronomy (ASA) and the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA). |

The collection
(1969-1991) includes bylaws, committee correspondence, executive
committee, and Board of Directors meeting minutes of the Crop
Science Society of America. Also included is a proposal and related
correspondence regarding a textbook on crop science for
college-level instruction under the auspices of the CSSA. |
