Collection description
 

The Iowa Map Collection contains maps which originally appeared in vintage atlases such as Gray's Atlas and Atlas of the State of Iowa.  Maps published as single maps are cataloged separately, and are also available in the Department of Special Collections.

The collection contains maps of Iowa dating from 1856-1904.  One of the maps (1904) shows the Congressional, Senatorial, Representative, and Judicial Districts of Iowa.

Additional historical maps of Iowa are cataloged and may be found by searching the library's online catalog.
