Collection description
 

The collection (1957-1972) includes annual reports, financial records, legislation, bylaws, rules and regulations, correspondence, monthly newsletters, printed materials, and maps. The files of county conservation boards have a particular significance because they illuminate the problems facing concerned citizens at the local level. The solutions to these problems also reflect the thinking of these concerned citizens when trying to resolve the many issues that these problems present.
