Current Position Responsibilities:
University Records Analyst: Responsible for the care of university records and developing a records management program for Iowa State University.Updates university records programs policy and procedures as needed. Provides direct assistance in the management of university records in all formats and media, including electronic records. Conducts records appraisals and inventories for all departments on campus. Analyzes departmental records-keeping systems throughout the university and prepares records retention schedules for departments. Sees to the transfer of records to the archives and the appraisal, arrangement, and description of university collections. Manages the university photograph, film, and artifact collections. Provides reference assistance to a members of the Iowa State University community and outside patrons. Supervises one full time employee and student assistants.
