ISU Library Research Assistance Service

Stop at the Help and Information Desk or call 294-3642 for an appointment

For more complex research and reference questions, the staff at the Help and Information Desk may refer a library user to one of our Subject Specialists in the Social Sciences or Science and Technology by having the user fill out a Research Assistance Request Form. You may also request a research appointment by calling 294-3642. The staff will help you with your request and direct it to the appropriate specialist. The library user would then be contacted by the specialist to set up an appointment. This individualized service provides library users with more extensive reference assistance than they would receive at the Help and Information Desk.
