Multimedia production stations - Introduction

Several workstations supporting multimedia production are housed in the Multimedia Production Studios, located on the west wall of the Learning Connections Center (Floor 1, Parks Library). These multimedia production stations (MPS) include high-end Macintosh and Windows systems, equipped with a variety of peripherals. The stations can be used to create media products like VHS tapes or DVD disks for class assignments, projects, or presentations.

The MPS workstations are intended primarily for use by ISU students, faculty, and staff, but are available to other library users as time and resources permit. Workstations can be reserved in one-hour time slots for a maximum of six consecutive hours. (See additional MPS policies and procedures.) This equipment is intended for educational and research purposes only, and use of the equipment for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Users are encouraged to review copyright and fair use guidelines as they apply to educational multimedia.
