Fee-based laser printing is available in all ISU Library facilities. Charges are 10 cents per page for black & white, and $1.00 per page for color (when available).
If you wish to charge printing costs to your University Bill, you must send your print job to a networked laser printer. Currently, there are networked laser printers for black & white printing in the following locations:
Parks Library, Lower Level: Reserve & Media Services
Parks Library, Lower Level: Computer Lab in Room 32
Parks Library, Floor 1: Main lobby
Parks Library, Floor 1: Room 198 (which houses the collection of books with PZ call numbers)
Parks Library, Floor 1: Learning Connections Center (north of the glass wall)
Parks Library, Floor 2: PC cluster near the photocopiers
Parks Library, Floor 3: PC cluster near the photocopiers
Parks Library, Floor 4: Inside the Special Collections Reading Room
Design Reading Room
Physical Sciences Reading Room
Veterinary Medical Library
There is also a networked color laser printer in the Learning Connections Center (Floor 1, Parks Library).
If you wish to pay for laser printing with cash (coin or bill) or ISUCard (personal or departmental), you can send your print job to a networked photocopier. This option is currently available in the following locations:
Parks Library, Lower Level: All public PCs on Lower Level, including those in Reserve & Media Services, are networked to the photocopier in the Lower Level corridor.
Parks Library, Floor 1: All PCs in the main lobby are networked to the single copier on the west wall of the lobby.
Parks Library, Floor 1: PCs in the Learning Connections Center are networked to the photocopier on the east wall of the LCC.
Parks Library, Floor 2: PCs are networked to the "right" copier in the Floor 2 corridor.
Parks Library, Floor 3: PCs are networked to the "left" copier in the Floor 3 corridor.
Parks Library, Floor 4: PCs are networked to the "left" copier in the Floor 3 corridor.
Design Reading Room
Physical Sciences Reading Room
Veterinary Medical Library
Any PC in the library system that is networked to a laser printer and/or a photocopier will have a desktop icon labeled "Laser printing", which links to a document providing detailed laser printing instructions.
COLOR COPYING/PRINTING: In addition to the single, networked color printer in the Learning Connections Center (see above), color copying and printing are available in the Parks Library Copy Center (Lower Level, Room 84), maintained by ISU Printing Services. Networked color printing is also available via the ISU Printing Services' NowPrint system.
