The Parks Library has three classrooms intended for library instruction:
Classroom 031 (Lower Level) is used primarily in the delivery of Library 160, the university's required course in information literacy.
Classroom 134 (Floor 1; adjoining the Learning Connections Center) is equipped with 48 PCs and optimized for computer-based instruction and testing. When the room is not being used for library instruction, it serves as an open computer lab.
Seminar Room 192 (Floor 1) is used primarily for workshops and seminars taught by Library faculty.
These rooms are not available for general university scheduling. However, instructors wishing to collaborate with Library faculty in developing or delivering library-related or library-based instruction should contact their subject librarians or Susan Vega Garcia, Head of Library Instruction (savega@iastate.edu).
