Vet Med Express (VME) provides free delivery of books and selected periodicals between the Parks Library and the Veterinary Medical Library. The service operates Monday through Friday, and is available to ISU students, faculty, and staff only.
An online request form is available via the e-Library, under the Services section within the Request Forms category. VME request forms are also available at the Parks Library Circulation Desk and at the service desk in the Veterinary Medical Library.
At the Veterinary Medical Library, requests submitted by 4:00 p.m. one day will be delivered from the Parks Library by 4:00 p.m. the next day (Monday through Friday). Material must be retrieved within ten days. Please note that only material from the Parks Library General Collection, Parks Cage, Leisure, Periodical Room, and Parks Storage is eligible for delivery via VME. Some items from the Media and Media Leisure Collections are also available for delivery; however, item eligibility is determined on a case by case basis. Material from Reference, Microforms, and Reserve cannot be delivered. Patrons must continue to use this material on site.
At the Parks Library, requests submitted by noon one day will be delivered from the Veterinary Medical Library by 10:00 a.m. the following day (Monday through Friday). Material must be retrieved within ten days.
