Location

The Veterinary Medical Library is housed in Room 2280 of the College of Veterinary Medicine. 

IMPORTANT: Persons unfamiliar with the building who are planning a library visit should call 515-294-2225 in advance to verify open hours and obtain specific directions to the library.  There is controlled access to the Vet Med Building. Visitors unaffiliated with the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) are welcome to use this facility from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Evening/weekend access is restricted to CVM students, faculty and staff. Library staff can frequently answer questions and handle requests from persons outside the College of Veterinary Medicine by telephone, e-mail, or postal mail, thereby saving them an unnecessary trip. If needed, a special appointment can be made with the veterinary medical librarian.
