Celebrate Homecoming and Sound the Cyren with the University Library. Ames and Iowa State University will be alive with activity in the coming days. Most Iowa State alums have a library story and vist Parks Library each time they are in town to walk through to see what’s new. Library visitors can experience a few noteworthy events during Homecoming Week 2017:

Starting Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, there will be 20-30 banners painted by members of student organizations on campus displayed on the second-floor railings. Each piece will be approximately 3 x 4 feet. Take a few minutes to enjoy the creative work of our students, and spread the word.

Iowa State University Library Digital Scholarship and Initiatives department plans a Bomb Transcribe-a-thon from noon to 4 p.m., Wed., Oct. 25, in Room 134, Parks Library.
