Priorities for Funding
Growing library research collections
This project seeks to expand library research collections. The fund supports the identification and acceptance of gift collections to develop and grow research collections. Funds raised would include both endowed and one-time funds, dependent on donor interests.
Revitalizing library learning and research space
This project seeks to redefine and revitalize learning and research space in Parks Library to ensure its optimal use. Components include renovating study space with new furniture and building infrastructure.
Endowed Dean of Library Services
This project seeks an endowed deanship for the Dean of Library Services. The endowment would provide essential discretionary funding for important library developmental initiatives, strategic library-wide and consortial projects, and professional support for scholarship and research for the dean's position.
Building library faculty and staff leadership
This project seeks needed funds for staff and faculty development by supporting the research, scholarship and development of best practices for library services. The funds raised would include both endowed and one-time funds, dependent on donor interests.
This fund provides the University Library with flexible monies to support innovative projects in the library's core mission for the learning and research needs of students and faculty.
