Stand Up For Your Right to Read

Sep 14, 2016

Banned Books Week is an annual celebration of our freedom to read. This week highlights the value of free and open access to information for all people. Please join libraries, bookstores, and book lovers across the nation to support the freedom to seek and express ideas, even those that may be unorthodox or unpopular. Defend the first amendment ? stand up and speak out for our freedom to read.

Come by Parks Library to check out our slide show and display of banned books. And don?t forget to use your phone to take a mug shot with your favorite banned book. Tweet your mug shot use #BannedBooksWeek and mention @ISU_Library.
