Rare Books as Artifacts Workshop
On Thursday, Oct. 12, Amy Bishop, rare books and manuscripts archivist, will lead "Beyond the Text: Rare Books as Artifacts" in 405 Parks. Open to the whole ISU community, participants don't have to be faculty or a history major to benefit. This session will be ideal for those interested in learning about or teaching the history of the book or using rare books to help teach art, natural history, or botany. All are welcome, including those with a casual interest in the topic or a desire to spend the afternoon learning something new. Preregister thru Learn@ISU.
American Archives Month
October is American Archives Month!
American Archives Month began in 2006 and is an opportunity for archivists to promote their collections and the profession.

- October 31, Halloween Exhibition & Trivia. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., 405 Parks Library. Check out what chilling and thrilling items we'll have on display, answer some trivia questions, and win some prizes.
