Pick from Shelf service rolled out for user convenience.

To enhance our user experience, we've rolled out a new service that streamlines access to desired materials for pickup at the cardholder's convenience. Anyone with a library account (members of the ISU community and library visitors) can request items, whether they are on the shelf or checked out. Up to 10 items can be requested, and they will be kept on the hold shelf at the chosen location for 10 days. The item-on-hold limit includes recalls. Items can be picked up at Parks, Design, or Vet Med, and Storage items can be requested for delivery at those pick-up locations.

Need to pick up from Parks? Request the item before noon, and it will be available after 2:30 p.m. the same day. Items requested from storage requested before 11 a.m. will be available at Parks after 3:30 p.m. the same day.

Need to pick up from Design? Request the item from Parks before noon, and it will be available after 2:30 p.m. the same day.

Need to pick up from Vet Med? Request the item before 8 a.m., and it will be available after 4 p.m. the same day. Items requested from storage by 8 a.m. will be delivered to Vet Med and available after 4 p.m. the next business day.
