Dean Beth McNeilDean of Library Services Beth McNeil has been re-elected to serve on the HathiTrust Board of Governors and a term that runs through December 2018. The Board is comprised of 12 elected and appointed members and oversees the HathiTrust?s 10-million-volume digital preservation repository, research center and other programs.

During my short tenure on the Board, HathiTrust has launched a major strategic program in support of shared print collection management, and I am excited to engage on its development in the coming two years,? McNeil said. HathiTrust?has been successful in building shared infrastructure for digital preservation, which can serve as a foundation to help build effective shared print storage strategies.

McNeil arrived at Iowa State University in 2015 and is a current member of the Hathi Trust Board of Governors and the Association of College and Research Libraries Board of Directors.?
