Knovel/Engineering Village Compendex Engineering Academic Challenge: Faculty pre-registration open

In this annual contest, students are asked STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) questions derived from real-world scenarios and problems. During the five weeks of competition, students can use?Knovel?and?Engineering Village, both online technical reference resources focused on the engineering community, to answer questions and win prizes. The competition is both at an individual level and a university level.

Pre-registration is currently open?for faculty in all engineering disciplines, and registration for students is scheduled to open in September.

What is Knovel/Engineering Village?

Knovel?is a web-based application integrating technical information with interactive analytical and search tools.?Engineering Village, also called Compendex, is a web-based information discovery platform that covers engineering literature. Both are linked on the ISU Library website in the Article Indexes and Databases section.

When does this happen??

The challenge runs from September to December 2016.
