Quickstart Guide for New Faculty
10-Aug-2009
Access to Library Services

Your ISUCard
Your ISUCard serves as a photo ID and determines borrowing privileges for library materials. The number on your ISUCard and a Library pin# validate your eligibility for remote access of many library services.

Library pin#
You must be a valid Library user, with a valid registered email address to be able to use this online form to set your Library pin#. Your ISUCard and this pin# are required for remote access of library services.

Remote Access
When requesting library services remotely, you must provide your ISUCard number and 4-digit Library pin#, which ensures additional security. Your ISUCard and Library pin# allow you to access the University Library catalog, many subscription databases, some e-journals and e-books, and other services from off-campus.
