01-Oct-2008

From October 1-24, the ISU Library is working with the Students for Iowa PIRG (Public Interest Research Group) and the New Voters Project to ensure that a record number of Iowa State University students register and vote in this November's election.

If...

  • You have not yet registered to vote, or
  • You have moved since you last registered to vote, or
  • You're unsure whether you're registered to vote at your current address

Then...

  • Visit www.studentvote.org/ and click on the Register to Vote button
  • Complete the form online, print it, and mail it to the address indicated
  • You'll receive your voter registration card in the mail

If you prefer, you can also place your completed form in a drop box at the Parks Library Circulation Desk during all library open hours, through October 24th. (Also if you prefer, staff at the Circulation Desk have a supply of printed Voter Registration forms that you can complete manually. These forms will be collected by the staff from the New Voters Project each evening.)

For more information, visit the New Voters Project at www.newvotersproject.org/.
