"The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Iowa State University adheres to this statute by relying on the fair use provisions of this law, and by obtaining the permission of copyright holders when required. As a reader of these documents, you must also observe the provisions of fair use, which allow you to make one copy (e.g., downloaded or print) of any document for your personal use in education or research.
