Introduction

This website was created as a resource to the ISU community during Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 - October 15, 2001.  Its main features are bibliographies that point to reference and research materials available at Parks Library by and about Latinos in the U.S., a list of Latino videos that instructors can check out for their ISU classes (or that students can view in the Parks Library media center), as well as a list of recommended Latino websites.  Population facts from the U.S. Census Bureau are also linked to the website, as is the website for ISU's Latino Studies Program.  The section on credits lists those who worked on this website, and the sources of information and graphics.
