World's Women On-Line! Electronic Art Networking -- The World's Women On-line! is an electronic art networking project originally established to be presented at the United Nations' Fourth Conference on Women in Beijing, China in 1995. Utilizing the Internet as a global exhibition format, this site focuses attention on the challenge of bringing the vast resource of women's experience and culture into the rapidly developing field of information technology. The World's Women On-line! demonstrates the professionalism and achievement of women artists internationally; bridges language barriers through art imagery; and promotes the interdisciplinary collaboration between technologists and artists.
Lire les Femmes Ecrivains et les Litteratures Africaines -- Wide-ranging site focusing on women writers of French-speaking, sub-Saharan Africa. Includes biographical information, texts, bibliographies, interviews, links to related sites, and a search engine.
Voices from the Gaps: Women Writers of Color -- Voices From the Gaps is a World Wide Web project that focuses on the lives and works of women writers of color in North America. Each author page presents biographical, critical and bibliographical information about the writer as well as links to other resources on the World Wide Web which contain significant information about that writer. Author pages are organized along a set of four indices: by name, place of birth, significant dates, and ethnic/racial identity, such as African-American, Asian-American, etc.
Women Writers Project -- "The mission of the Brown University Women Writers Project is to create, develop, and make accessible a state-of-the-art electronic textbase of women's writing in English before 1830. The WWP textbase is intended to support a wide range of activities, including new research on texts, information technology, and cultural history; publications and other textbase products; and innovative approaches to teaching."--Title screen.

Charity Navigator -- This new site rates nonprofits' use of their funds. Started in April, Charity Navigator has a database of 1100 charities, searchable by keyword, category or region, and awarded 1-4 stars.
Hildegard of Bingen -- This site details numerous Internet sources concerning the life and works of Hildegard of Bingen.
SWIP, Society for Women in Philosophy -- Home page for the Society for Women in Philosophy, contains links to information on women philosophers, the SWIP electronic discussion list, and issues relating to philosophy and women.
