and Regional Planning Resources -- This site has links to various
electronic resources of interest to community and regional planning
including, electronic journals, indexes, organizations, planning
resources, libraries, special interest topics and listservs.
Cyburbia-- Cyburbia
(formerly called PAIRC - The Planning and Architecture Internet Resource
Center) contains a comprehensive directory of Internet resources relevant
to planning, architecture, urbanism and other topics related to the built
environment. Cyburbia also contains information about architecture- and
planning-related mailing lists and Usenet newsgroups, and hosts several
interactive message areas.
History of
Planning & Urbanism -- A brief guide to research resources for
the history of planning and urbanism at the University of California,
Berkeley libraries and on the Web.
Planners Network Online
-- The online site for the Planners Network, an association of
professionals, activists, academics, and students involved in physical,
social, economic and environmental planning in urban and rural areas, who
promote fundamental change in our political and economic system. In
addition to information about the organization, its conferences, and
activities, access is also provided to later issues of the Planners
network newsletter.
Planners Web -- Site
edited by Wayne Senville provides resources for those working in the
planning field and also for citizens interested in planning. Access is
also provided for selective articles from issues of the Planning
commissioners journal.
Urban Development -- Part
of the World Bank website, this page focuses on international issues
relating to the sustained development of cities worldwide.
The Urban Institute: a
Nonpartisan Economic and Social Policy Research Organization
-- The Urban Institute investigates social and economic problems
confronting the nation and analyzes efforts to solve these problems. The
Institute seeks to increase Americans' awareness of important public
choices and improve the formulation and implementation of government
decisions. Much of its research is available to the public.

Environmental Management -- Collection of resources on urban
environmental management, emphasizing a global perspective. Includes
documents, directories, research projects, glossaries, statistics, links
