Anderson Japanese Gardens -- Anderson’s Japanese Gardens in Rockford, IL. is a formal Japanese garden with cascading waterfalls, ponds, streams rock formations, winding lanes, and a tea house and a guest house.
Australian National Botanic Gardens -- Describes plants and animals in the gardens, upcoming events, and the botanical bookshop. Includes maps of the gardens and descriptions of horticultural research projects.
Brookgreen Gardens -- Brookgreen Gardens in SC., founded in 1931, was America's first public sculpture garden.
Butchart -- Gardens in British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1904, this garden remains a family business and has grown to become a premier West Coast display garden. The Butchart Gardens has established an international reputation for its year round display of flowering plants.
Desert botanical Garden -- Desert botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ. hosts one of the world’s finest collections of desert plants. Mission is “to advance excellence in education, research, exhibition, and conservation of desert plants of the world with emphasis on the Southwestern United States.”
Harry P. Leu Gardens -- Harry P. Leu Garden in Orlando, FL. features large Camellia and Rose collections, Palm and Bamboo collections, a Tropical Stream Garden, a Kitchen Garden with herbs, vegetables and a butterfly garden.
Longwood Gardens -- Longwood Garden in PA., sometimes referred to as the DuPont Gardens, includes 1,050 acres (425 hectares) of gardens, woodlands, and meadows, indoor gardens, thousands of different types of plants and spectacular fountains.
Missouri Botanical Garden -- Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden is one of the oldest botanical institutions in the country and a National Historic Landmark. The Garden is a center for botanical research, science education and horticultural display. Also contains information about the Shaw Nature Reserve, an extension of the Missouri Botanical Garden.
New York Botanical Garden -- This National Historic Landmark is recognized for its horticultural excellence, educational programs, and scientific research.
North Carolina Botanical Garden -- North Carolina Botanical Garden is part of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Reiman Gardens, Iowa State University -- Presents a virtual tour of the Gardens along with maps; information about activities, volunteering, publications, and facilities rental; a live webcam; and links to other public gardens and sources of gardening information.
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew -- The first botanic garden at Kew was established in 1759. Now it is one of the world's leading plant species conservation. The mission of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is to enable better management of the Earth's environment by increasing knowledge and understanding of the plant and fungal kingdoms.
