Indexes simply list citations of journal articles (and sometimes conference
papers and other items). Use of an electronic index allows you to search
hundreds of journals at one time enabling precise retrieval of articles
published on a particular subject.
Indexes marked with an asterisk(*) may be searched simultaneously. Click on
one of the databases and wait for it to appear on the screen. Click on the
‘Change Databases’ at the top left corner. Select the databases you would like
to search from the ‘Database Menu.’ Click on the ‘Start Searching’ button, at
the top left corner. Then click on the ‘Search History’ button and click on the
‘Rerun’ link.
