Species Information Library

Species Information Library is a database of detailed information profiles for several thousand species of North American animals. Taxonomy, food habits, life history, habitat, management practices, and references are included. The profiles have been collected from several national and state species information systems. Species Information Library is a product of National Information Services Corporation (NISC) which provides access through BiblioLine, their Web search service.
