The Philosopher's Index provides indexing and
abstracts from books and journals of philosophy and
related fields. It covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics,
social philosophy, political philosophy, epistemology,
and metaphysic logic as well as material on the
philosophy of law, religion, science, history, education,
and language.
The Philosopher's Index is a current, comprehensive, and easy-to-use subject and author
index covering the period from 1940 to the present. The Index includes more than 480 journals from more than 40 countries and is updated quarterly. In addition to the subject and author indexes, each issue or edition includes a book review index. The database cites works in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese. It also includes complete coverage of international articles from anthologies and books written in English and other languages.
